PsyCoMed partner, Prof. Amira Zaky from Alexandria University, Egytp, was invited to give a presentation during the EU Egypt R&I Week.
The European Union and Egypt share a longstanding partnership in research and innovation, reinforced through Egypt’s participation in Horizon Europe, as well as the co-chairmanship of the PRIMA programme.
Building on the momentum of the recent association to Horizon Europe as well as
marking the 20th anniversary of the EU-Egypt STI agreement, the proposed EU–Egypt R&I Week aimed to provide a dedicated platform to highlight achievements, deepen cooperation, and explore new opportunities in science, technology, and innovation that support the green transition, digital transformation, food security, water management and many other sectors supporting sustainable economic growth.
This week-long event strengthened institutional, academic, and private-sector ties while showcasing concrete success stories of EU–Egypt collaboration.
